Entry #2: My Top 3 Favorite SNES Games

Hello once again! It hasn’t been an hour since my last post, but what the heck. Here’s another post. This time about my favorite Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES for short) games! Disclaimer: I do not claim to have played every single SNES game or have expert opinions about them. I am just guy who likes to play video games!

Here’s number three on my list: Super Ghouls ‘N Ghosts.

This game is commonly known to be one of the most difficult games on the SNES console. For those few of you have beaten the game, including me (totally not bragging), will agree with me that this game is amazing. Okay, I may be a bit biased on this because I can beat it. This game has a simple plot: rescue the princess. The animations of all the characters are beautiful to look at. The music of this game is fantastic. In my opinion, the composition is the most important aspect of any game, and this one has it. This is one side-scroller you have to try!

Next up on the list is Super Metroid.

Unlike Super Ghoul’s ‘N Ghosts, this one requires your thinking cap! Puzzles, unique enemies, mystery, amazing composition, weapons, bosses, etc. What doesn’t this game have!? One things for sure, I love strong female protagonists in video games. Samus Aran, the badass bounty hunter, must explore the entire world of Zebes in order to… Wait… I don’t want to spoil anything! Go and play it!

Last but not least, my favorite game OF ALL TIME: Chrono Trigger!

I have yet to play any game on any console that has topped this one. The world-renowned directors of this game include the creator of Final Fantasy, Takashi Tokita; creator of Dragon Quest, Yoshinori Kitase; and manga artist famous for Dragon Ball, Akihiko Matsui. IS THERE ANY BETTER TEAM OF DEVELOPERS? Sorry for yelling, but the answer is no. The music is by far the best of any video game ever. All the characters are unique and loveable. The story is captivating and unique. Nothing better than a group of friends going on the adventure of a life time. This is one RPG everyone NEEDS to play.

After the emotional struggle I had to go through to pick my top three favorite SNES games, it is your turn to tell me your thoughts. What are your favorite SNES games? Favorite video games in general? What do you look for in a video game? Do you suggest any video games for me to play? Let me know in the comments down below. I would love to hear your opinions. Have a nice day!
